A love of country music attracted Jan to the Sunraysia area originally and that exposed her to the Coomealla Holiday Villas which she later purchased and operated for some thirteen years.  Jan is a past President of the Wentworth Regional Tourist Association and also has a long association with Girl Guides Victoria reaching the position of Assistant State Ranger Adviser. Jan has been on the Board of Directors since 2010.
