We have many members who participate in our weekend and daily trips. Our fishing trips are fun and exciting, especially when you catch that ‘BIG ONE’.
Peter St. Leon – President
The Angling Club is available for both Adult and Junior Membership, with regular one day and overnight fishing trips conducted throughout the year.
A highlight on the yearly calendar is the weekend away trip, destinations over recent years have included Wallaroo, Stansbury and Port Broughton where our Angling Club members have experienced sea fishing.
Our Angling Club is also pro-active in securing fish numbers for the future and improving the health of the Murray River with involvement in an annual fish stocking program. Initiated by the Angling Club in 1989 and partnered with the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club and NSW Fisheries Native Fish Stocking Program the annual release has seen some 500,000 fingerlings released into the Murray River.

In the wake of another big year in cycling across Australia, the
Mildura-Coomealla Cycling Club has had another action packed year.
Rachel Kilmister – President
We had very few disruptions to our race program over the year with good conditions being the order of the day. The Club hosted two highly competitive race seasons.
Standout events for the year were the Lindemans criterium championship in July and the combined inter-club race held in conjunction with the Riverland Cycling Club.
The Coomealla-Mildura Triathlon Club and the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club has been represented with integrity and pride, as well as outstanding race results.
We have a fabulous club spirit and work to support all members to achieve their personal goals. We have been represented in events in Adelaide, Melbourne, Pt Macquarie, Perth, Shepparton, Sydney, New Zealand, Cairns, Gold Coats, Fiji and the great Island itself – KONA.
