Privacy Disclosure Statement
The Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club is subject to the provision of the Privacy Act 1998. We are committed to complying with the National Privacy Principles and ensuring the security of all personal information collected.Collection of personal information
We collect personal information from you when you apply for membership, when you inform us of changes to that personal information or when you use products and services. This includes information about you obtained as a result of you placing your membership card in a gaming or other club machine that is linked to the Clubs loyalty system (not ATMs) that may provide a benefit or service to you.

Use and disclosure of personal information
This information may be used by the Club for marketing purposes to improve our services and to provide you with the latest information about those services and any new related services and promotions. If you do not wish to receive marketing material and information on our promotions and services please contact the Club.

NB: To those members who have golf related membership. The Australian Golf Union (AGU) requires the information requested above for the purpose of GOLF LINK. Your personal information will only be used in accordance with GOLF LINK “ACTIVITY” and to provide you with GOLF LINK services. If the information is not provided to the AGC you may not be able to obtain GOLF LINK services including an official Australian Handicap. Should you wish, you will be able to access your personal information through the AGUY upon reasonable request.

Third Party Disclosures
The Club does not usually disclose your personal information to any other organisation or person unless there is a legal requirement to do so. The Club may disclose your information to contractors who provide service under contract to help us operate the club or provide services to you. These contracts require the third party to keep your personal information confidential and secure (such as AGU, a direct mailing house or computer systems provider).

Your Rights
You have the right to access and correct any of your personal information which the Club holds about you. The Club will generally not charge a fee for access to this information, but will require 30 days notice.
